Congratulations Quilting Graduates!

You have successfully completed this class with flying (fabric) colors!

I am SEW proud of each and every one of you and all of the hard work you put into this class. Your stunning quilts are a testiment to your growth, and perseverance. With each sewn block, you improved, each day achieving more than the last. Take these lessons forward with you as you go out into the world.

No matter which way life takes us, we can always come back to quilting.

If you are still working on some of our lessons, that is okay, take your time!

There is no rushing when it comes to learning.

All the Finishings

Really make this quilt something special by adding a bit of Appliqué and

personalized touches to the quilt top.

We have the perfect Green Thumb and Olive Branch Silhouettes for you to choose from. Fill your corner baskets with flowers or just sprinkle it around the borders.

Once your quilt top is completed, then it is time to think about your backing and batting.

For Backing, there are two options- 2½ yards of 108" wide fabric

4½ yards of 42" wide fabric

For Batting, my favorite is Hobbs batting and I recommend the

Or you may be a fan of big stitch quilting or tying your quilt, you will need:

For Binding, you will need 2/3 yard of fabric. I also recommend Aurifil threads 2370 or 2312 with a size 11 embroidery needle.

Now it is time to sign your finished quilt or add a label. I like to sign the front of my quilts in little fun, secret places, but you can sign yours anywhere. You can even put your dipolma on the back in some fun fashion, whether that be hand drawing or printing it from a small printer onto fabric - there are all sorts of creative ways to leave your mark. Do what feels right to you.

I could not be more proud of you!
