Our first ever Laundry Basket Quilts 4th of July Fabric Contest

has come to a close, and now it is time to choose your favorite project!

Fourth of July has always been one of my favorite holidays, and I love patriotic quilts! Here are some of the quilts that I have made over the years.

If you have not tried our panel fabric in a project, and are thinking of using our panel fabric, here are some creative ideas for how to sprinkle these stunning stars into your creations!


We now have full yardage available in Red and Blue fabric panels

in case you more fabric for future projects!


I love table runners and I thought I would surprise you and inspire you with 12 fun ideas!

These table runners are an excellent way to show off your stars!

(patterns are not available, these are just for inspiration on how to play with your fabrics)


How about some ideas for bigger projects...


Try framing your stars with Square in a Square!


Use a border for pineapple quilt,


or the center of your favorite block!


Add some sparkle in your sashing design.


No matter how you arrange your stars, you are guaranteed to have

Welcome to the first ever Laundry Basket Quilts 4th of July Fabric Contest!

We are sew excited for you all to join us and create a beautiful 4th of July Project!

This contest is FREE for everyone to join with fun prizes to win.


The Contest

- Project must include a piece of the Laundry Basket Quilts Red or Blue Star Panel.

- Use your own fabrics in patriotic colors along with the panel to create any beautiful project (quilt, table runner, jacket, bag, etc.)

- Project size requirements: no smaller than 20" square and no bigger than 80" square.

- Submit a picture of your project with a short description of your inspiration from

March 30th until July 1st to be entered into our contest using the link below!



All winners will be announced July 4th on our blog!


We have small bundle if you do not have enough

of your own fabrics in Red, Light, and Blue.


I'm really looking forward to see how you use this fabric!

This is going to be SEW much fun no matter how you use it and what you make.

Experiment, get creative and get quilting those red, lights, and blues!
