Common Bride - Original Quilt Design by Edyta Sitar

I am quilting using the Common Bride Fabric Kit and adding some scraps from my stash.

You can use this same kit or this is a perfect time to select some beauties from you own stash and enjoy all your fabrics to make this design your own!

Who's ready to garden?

Please don't forget to refer back to your Common Bride pattern for cutting measurements.

Pieced Border

Combine 3 light and 3 dark strips. Press away from the light strips. Then cut units.

ree

Combine 2 units. Make 148 blocks.

Set them to the side.

From leftover strips and strip sets, cut your light and dark squares to create the units above.

Pay attention to your light and dark squares to make sure all your pieces are laying correctly.

Note from Edyta: This is a perfect time to reuse any leftover strip sets and scraps.

Don't be afraid to take some squares off to accommodate the correct number of squares

to get the unit you desire.
